MISSION & VISION

We make software to enhance the work of digital videographers and post-production editors.

In the future, IRUDIS is planning to launch several digital video software products for Mac and Windows OS. These will initially be plug-ins for leading video editing applications such as Apple Final Cut and Adobe Premiere. 

IRUDIS has the ambition to create a new category of video editing products building on its photographic software expertise. The software products are designed for videographers, post-production editors, moviemakers and photographers embracing video and are based on patent-pending proprietary technologies.

THE HISTORY

The company was founded in 2004 by Michael Jonsson and Kenneth Tang Laerke under the name Pixmantec. In 2009 the company changed its name to IRUDIS.

Pixmantec was makers of award winning digital imaging software that provided advanced workflow management and processing capabilities for digital camera RAW files.

Pixmantec provided in the period from February 2005 until June 2006 digital photographers at all levels of expertise and experience with the latest in RAW workflow management technology with the introduction of the FREE application RawShooter|essentials and later RawShooter|premium.

In June 2006 Adobe Systems Incorporated acquired the technology assets of Pixmantec.

THE FOUNDERS

Kenneth Tang Laerke, CEO has worked in the imaging industry for more than 13 years.

Michael Jonsson, CTO has worked in the imaging industry for more than 17 years.

Uwe Steinmueller, Editor/Publisher of Digital Outback Photo, serves as technical advisor to Irudis.
